Volunteer Hose & Gasket, Inc. was founded in 1972, as a supplier in the Middle Tennessee Industrial Market. Over the years, we have grown and expanded our markets. We sell to, both, the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and the MRO (Maintenance Related Operations) as well as other end users. We have shipped products all over the world from our Nashville locations.
We use hoses, manufactured by well-recognized companies such as Goodyear, Parker Hannifin, and Senior Flexonics and install fittings, produced by Dixon Valve & Coupling, PT Couplings, Goodyear, Parker, and many others, to fabricate special hose assemblies per our customers' requests.
We buy rolls of conveyor belting from well-recognized companies such as Siegling, Goodyear, Belt Concepts and HBD, and then customize it for our customers by slitting the belt to the length and width as needed. We offer lacing, vulcanizing, cleats, profiles, flytes, sidewalls and many other extras.
We stock Garlock Sealing Products and, in addition, Klinger, Goretex, Durabla and many other manufacturers. We offer gasket materials in rubber, fiber and chemical grade sheets and rolls. Also, we offer fabricated gaskets, joint sealant, compression and hydraulic packing, "U", "Y", lip and poly seals, along with o-rings made of Buna-N, Kalrez, Teflon, Parafluor, Viton, Silicone, EPDM and other rubber compounds.
Volunteer Hose & Gasket, Inc. has two locations in Nashville. Our main office, located at 80 Polk Avenue , stocks all our products from belting to hoses to gaskets. We serve both walk-in and off-site sales from this facility. Our second store is known as "The Parker Store by Volunteer Hose & Gasket, Inc." and is geared towards walk-in trade for the construction, heavy equipment, and towmotor industries. Products are on display in a 2500 square foot showroom for self-service.
Hose & Belting Specialties, Inc., located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, is an affiliated operation that offers many of the same things on a smaller scale. We stock belting, v¬belts, gasket material, packing, and industrial and hydraulic hoses in Murfreesboro.
